My first visit to the island of Crete was in 1997, when my daughter came here from Canada as a tourist. Instead of a short stay as planned, she fell in love with the island, like most of us. She also fell in love with a Cretan boy, my actual son-in-law. In 1999, we were blessed with the birth of my grand-daughter. That was the moment when I started to think seriously about moving to Crete to be around my family.
After about 30 years of living and working in Canada, in the year 2000 I left my home country and came to live here in Crete. Being a “hotelier” by career and not knowing a word of Greek, it was impossible for me to find work in the same field. When I got an opportunity to work with one of the local building developers in Hania, I took it. After only one season I realized that working for a certain company meant to sell their products whether they were ‘good, bad, or ugly’. It was then that I decided to work independently so I can be free to offer what customers need, not what that company forces me to sell.
Being independent gives me the opportunity and freedom of finding and locating the house of your dreams in the area of your choice, with the investment that you wish to make. All transactions are finalized through legal offices. Payment plans are also available.
I can consider myself a successful businessman and this because I follow the three main values that are the basis of my activity:
First, listening to the client’s needs, without trying to sell whatever available. Second, integrity. I know most of my clients are foreigners like me, so I act more as a counselor rather than a salesman. Last but not least, honesty. I believe in repeat and referral business, not “hit and run”. Most of my clients have become my friends.
Allow yourself to dream and act to make your dream real, and why not contact me right now, either by e-mail or telephone.
Looking forward to meeting you in CRETE.
Best regards,
VICTOR HABIB
